With the opening of Northwest Regional Heart and Vascular, Adventist Health Portland ushered in a new era of patient-centered cardiovascular care. Located in our pavilion, the heart center offers highly integrated and innovative care for you and your family.

Innovative, integrated heart care

• Our cardiologist and cardiac surgeon clinics are located within Northwest Regional Heart and Vascular.
• Our cardiac and vascular cath labs are right next to the emergency room with direct helicopter and ambulance access. This allows for quicker and more efficient treatment for our cardiac patients.
• A highly specialized cardiovascular unit uses an acuity-adaptable bed design to care for patients who have had cardiac surgery. This allows patients to stay in one place from admission through discharge. Hospitals using this innovative design have shown improved healing and shorter stays.
• Diagnostic services are located within the cardiac care unit. Echocardiograms, nuclear cardiology, stress testing and other cardiac diagnostic tests are conveniently located in Northwest Regional Heart and Vascular.
• The patient and family lobby area includes a concierge's desk along with dining options for you and your family's convenience
