That’s why Adventist Health Portland is proud to be accredited as a Comprehensive Center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program, a joint quality program of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
This accreditation means you can depend on us to meet the highest standards for patient safety and quality when you’re looking for surgical treatment in your weight-loss journey. Before, during and after surgery, you can expect multidisciplinary care designed specifically for patients with obesity.

We also are part of a national data registry that tracks surgical outcomes and identifies opportunities for quality improvement.
