Schedule your appointment before you leave

If you or someone you know is planning to visit another country for a vacation or a mission trip, make an appointment for a travel clinic consultation, ideally four to six weeks before the trip (but at least one week ahead). When you call for an appointment, you'll be asked your destination, dates of travel and the parts of the country you'll be visiting. When you come in for your appointment, you'll receive the necessary vaccinations, medications and health tips for keeping yourself healthy in your chosen destination.
