Eric Swanson, PresidentEric Swanson, President

An experienced healthcare leader, Eric previously served as executive director of strategy and business development and has served in a number of clinical roles with Adventist Health Tillamook for 30 years. From his beginning as a hospital teen volunteer, through his years of clinical practice as a paramedic, followed by various leadership roles on a statewide and local level in public safety and healthcare, Eric has developed a perspective on excellence in rural healthcare that supports continued strategic growth and our mission. He is a board-certified fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Eric holds an MBA from Southern Adventist University, a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in Management from Southwestern Adventist College.

Kathy Saxon, Patient Care ExecutiveKathy Saxon, Patient Care Executive

Kathy Saxon has nearly 40 years experience leading clinical teams in both rural and large health care facilities. Kathy has served as the Interim President of Adventist Health Tillamook and has served as Patient Care Executive and Chief Nursing Officer at the medical center for the past five years. Her work at the medical center has transformed the quality of care delivered in Tillamook. As a local resident, she has been committed to ensuring the hospital consistently provides exceptional care. Patients who had previously traveled over the mountain range for their medical needs are now receiving their care in town. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of South Florida in Tampa.


Gina Seufert, Physician and Clinic Services ExecutiveGina Seufert, Physician and Clinic Services Executive and Privacy Officer

Since coming to Adventist Health Tillamook in 1994, Seufert has served in a number of clinical and leadership roles for departments including: Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Safety, Emergency Department, Outpatient Therapy Services, Clinic Services, Medical Staff Services and Patient Scheduling. Prior to that, she served for ten years in several clinical and administrative roles at Ketchikan General Hospital in Alaska.

A registered nurse for nearly 30 years, Seufert has extensive experience in both clinical and administrative rural health care roles. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and also maintains TEAM and ACLS clinical certifications.

An active volunteer and past president with the Tillamook County 4-H Leaders Association, Seufert also enjoys spending time with her family, which includes three grown children and three grandchildren, as well as tending to a hobby farm.
