Hobbies: Enjoys cooking a multitude of regional and international cuisines. Takes great pleasure in hiking, long drives and traveling to new countries.
Work Experience: Internal Medicine experience in Pakistan as a medical officer and primary care physician.
Why did you choose Internal Medicine? Wide variety of cases, long-term patient/doctor relationship building.
Career plans after Residency: Pursue a fellowship to have a practice that will help build a long-term relationship with his patients, mostly in the underserved communities.

Why did you choose Internal Medicine? A chance to build long-lasting relationships in my community.
Career plans after Residency: Would like to pursue a fellowship in Cardiology but is exploring other options further.

Why did you choose Internal Medicine? Believes a primary care physician is essential in navigating the individual to prevent chronic diseases and a better quality of life apart from curing the acute illnesses.
Career plans after Residency: Wants to become a hospitalist and be an important member in the health network to offer her expertise in primary care.

Why did you choose Internal Medicine? To gain a detailed, yet general, understanding of medicine. This will provide a wide range of options for either specialization or a teaching position for residents or medical students.
Career plans after Residency: Wants to become a Cardiologist. If not, would become a PCP/Hospitalist.
