The Program’s mission is to provide quality training and exceptional opportunities to our residents. In this program, we train competent, well-rounded physicians, that will provide compassionate care to the patients in the Central Valley, as well as to increase the primary care workforce in the community.

Pharmacy Residency Program

Our PGY1 pharmacy residency program is tailored to provide various clinical, administrative, and leadership experiences for future pharmacy providers. Residents will work in an interdisciplinary setting, actively engaging in various roles both as a resident and an independent pharmacist. Residents will gain the foundation of a clinical pharmacist in both acute care and ambulatory care settings. Residents will participate in various medication management administrative projects and policy oversight to understand the role of a Pharmacy Department in hospital administration and population health. Leadership experience will develop throughout the year as residents participate in precepting and administration.

The residency program focuses on providing solid foundations to develop advanced pharmaceutical skills in both acute care and ambulatory care settings.
