Adventist Health Simi Valley has received multiple esteemed honors in 2022 from Healthgrades—the leading resource that connects consumers, physicians and health systems. Every year, Healthgrades evaluates hospital performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 31 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions. Specifically, we received honors in the areas of Cardiac, Critical Care, Gastrointestinal and Pulmonary treatments.

Recognized as the first Center of Excellence for Robotic Surgery in Ventura County by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), Adventist Health Simi Valley offers the most effective, least invasive surgical treatments available. This accreditation signals that our hospital is among the best in this specialty and is acknowledged for providing the highest quality of care and patient safety.

Leapfrog “Grade A” Spring 2019 Hospital Safety Score

The Nationally Recognized Leapfrog Group’s Hospital Safety Score is the only independent ratings program that focuses exclusively on how hospitals work to keep their patients safe. This award is a testament to our unyielding commitment to serve the needs of our patients and our community.

Gold Stroke Plus Award 2018 - 2019

Adventist Health Simi Valley has earned this award by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients at a set level for a designated period. These measures include evaluation of the proper use of medications and other stroke treatments aligned with the most up-to-date, evidence-based guidelines with the goal of speeding recovery and reducing death and disability for stroke patients. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.

Chest Pain Accreditation from American College of Cardiology

Chest Pain Center v6 Accreditation is a quality improvement program designed for hospital cardiovascular (CV) teams that are focused on the efficient and effective care of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. CPC v6 Accreditation drives to establish consistent, high quality processes across the continuum of care.

The listing of the top-tier U.S. home health care agencies honors those that rank in the top 25 percent in their region based upon quality of care, quality improvement and financial performance.
