Prevention and early detection

Your dedicated nurse navigator
Navigating the complexities and processes of a cancer journey can be challenging on your own. That’s why you’ll have a dedicated nurse navigator to support you all the way. Your nurse navigator is an oncology certified registered nurse who assists you and your family with everything from timely access to care and eliminating barriers to care to answering process questions and providing educational materials and referrals to community resources.

Meet Ari Kassardjian
Ari Kassardjian, MD, is a radiation oncologist at Adventist Health Simi Valley who specializes in advanced radiation therapies for a wide range of adult cancers. Trained at the University of Southern California and City of Hope, he provides treatments including IMRT, VMAT, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). His expertise allows patients with complex cancers to access highly precise, personalized radiation treatment close to home.

Nancy Reagan Breast Center
Our Nancy Reagan Breast Center is one of the first facilities in Ventura County to be designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This designation certifies that the center has earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound, including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
