Supporting community projects and programs
Adventist Health Simi Valley is part of a not-for-profit health system with a long-standing history of providing philanthropic support for projects and programs offered within the communities we serve. Our mission of living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope is coupled with a vision to transform the health experience of our communities through collaborative programs, community investments, and health education.

Grant and sponsorship guidelines
In order to ensure that grant and scholarship funds are being allocated in keeping with organizational goals, each application undergoes a full review. Requests should be received 90 days in advance, and we ask that you allow a 14-day response window to your request. Review our guidelines and find applications below.
Grants
Grants are intended for 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations to apply for a specific contribution for a special purpose that aligns with Adventist Health Simi Valley’s mission, values, Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), and California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) within our service area. Eligible funding could include a project, activity, or education. Ineligible costs include administrative costs, rent, utilities, insurance, and salaries.
Sponsorships
Sponsorship requests are intended for application to apply for a one-time event or activity that is aligned with Adventist Health Simi Valley’s mission, values, CHNA, and CHIS within our service area. Sponsorship requests could include monetary contribution, participation at an event with a booth, primary care advisor volunteers, education opportunities, screenings, giveaways, etc. Requests for in-kind support such as health screenings or promotional items/giveaways will be assigned monetary value and considered part of Adventist Health Simi Valley’s contribution.
