The Child Development Center at Adventist Health Simi Valley is a place for families to thrive. Using our innovative, whole-person approach to care, our multi-disciplinary team partners with families on their journey to help children reach their full potential in a supportive environment. Nothing brings us more joy than watching a parent’s eyes light up when they see their child discover something new that they are capable of doing.
Expert care
Founded in 1979, the CDC has been a leader in pediatrics for more than 40 years. Our therapists are some of the most experienced in the nation.

Our philosophy puts families at the center of care. We partner with parents to set realistic goals that meet individualized needs of each child and family.
Teamwork
Our multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists work together with the family to help children succeed.
Welcoming environment
Children learn best when they’re comfortable and at play. Our state-of-the-art sensory gym includes floor and wall mats, a rock wall, ball pit, therapy swings and more to keep children engaged and motivated.

Our program offers comprehensive assessments to ascertain, along with the family, a child’s skills as well as address concerns reported by parents/caregivers. Together, we create an individualized plan that addresses each family’s unique concerns, and also their strengths, hopes and dreams.
