Relaxation Classes for Cancer Patients & Survivors
Join us for an introduction to relaxation and guided imagery. Classes are led by Jennifer Jimenez and are free for cancer patients and survivors. Guided imagery is a visualization technique that uses images, suggestions, storytelling and metaphors to enhance relaxation and promote well-being. Patients focus on creating positive images to help heal their bodies and alleviate some of their symptoms. Held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. January 30, February 27, March 27, April 24, May 22, and June 20 at the Nancy Reagan Breast Center at the Aspen Center, 2750 N. Sycamore Drive, Suite 200, Simi Valley. Bring a pillow and beach towel or yoga mat. Space is Limited.
