Adventist Health Glendale exterior of building Adventist Health Glendale (AHGL) is a 515-bed acute care medical center in Glendale, California providing state-of-the-art comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to Los Angeles County. AHGL is recognized for excellence in advanced surgery, behavioral medicine, emergency care, Heart & Vascular Institute, home health, imaging, minimally invasive surgery, neonatal care, Neuroscience Institute, occupational medicine, oncology, orthopedics, pain management, rehabilitation and women’s services. The medical center offers residency programs in family medicine and pharmacy.

In 2014, AHGL was voted Best Hospital and Best Nurses by Glendale News-Press by Readers' Choice readers. It opened a Heart and Vascular institute, a state-of-the-art medical office and also acquired a Verdugo Hills Medical Associates urgent care and primary care. AHGL was also named number one Top Performer for STEMI Receiving Center with the lowest door-to-balloon time out of 34 Los Angeles County medical centers.

In 2018, Adventist Health Glendale had 22,512 admissions, 1,769 deliveries, 58,612 emergency visits and 142,652 outpatient visits. AHGL is staffed by more than 800 physicians, 2,544 employees and 1,100 volunteers.
