Adventist Health Sonora’s Center for Breast Health uses a patient-centered approach, making sure to provide each patient with comfort, convenience and quality exam results. Providing thousands of mammograms each year, the center is saving lives with early detection of breast cancer.
Online scheduling is available
We know you are busy and finding time to call the doctor's office during normal business hours can be difficult. We offer online scheduling for mammograms so you can make your appointment any time that is convenient for you.
Our team of highly skilled radiologists and technologists uses state-of-the-art equipment to provide comprehensive screening and diagnostic breast imaging services including 2D and 3D mammography, breast MRI, stereotactic biopsies and ultrasound guided biopsies.

Diagnostic Exams
For patients requiring further diagnostic testing, our radiologists can perform image-guided biopsies to take small tissue samples. Our GE Essential digital mammography machine is used for stereotactic biopsies — a mammography-guided procedure – and our GE Logiq ultrasound machines are also used to perform image-guided biopsies.
If further care is needed, the Center for Breast Health has several resources here in Sonora to provide complete breast cancer care including the Diana J. White Cancer Institute, Yosemite Pathology, General Surgery Associates and Mountain Medical General Surgery. Physicians and staff from each of these clinics work closely together to deliver the best care with individualized treatment plans.
Our nurse navigators provide expert guidance – helping to coordinate tests, procedures and treatments while supporting each patient and their loved ones with kindness and compassion.
