Our Team

Our registered nurse practitioner has worked in healthcare more than 13 years. He provides primary care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. No need to go multiples places, we can take care of the entire family. And our team has a passion for providing care to the rural communities of Kern County.

Our bilingual staff includes a nurse practitioner, a clinic manager, two medical assistants, and an LVN.

Gabriel Villachica, FNP-C, ARNP
Family Medicine

Board-certified nurse practitioner Gabriel Villachica has worked in the healthcare field more than 13 years. He provides primary care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up with a goal to build trust and rapport with every patient.

Prior to pursuing nursing as a career, he served eight years in the United States Army. He also has a passion for medical missions, volunteering as a healthcare provider with Adventist Health International in Honduras.

Gabriel enjoys spending time with his wife and three Yorkie puppies, which he says bring him much joy and laughter. He also has many interests, a few of which include traveling, hiking, and swimming, and he is fluent in both English and Spanish.


Nancy Mosqueda,
LVN

Nancy Mosqueda, LVN has been with Adventist Health for 6 years and has been working on the mobile clinic for the past 4 months. Nancy previously worked as a Lab Assistant and EKG Tech. She is currently going to nursing school to become an RN and hopes to become a nurse practitioner one day. Nancy has an associate degree with emphasis in Human Biology. Nancy’s favorite part about the job is being able to assist and educate rural communities to take better take care of their health. Nancy loves working out and trying new restaurants and enjoys spending quality time with her Australian Sheppard, Bella.


Lourdes Ramirez,
Medical Assistant

Lourdes Ramirez has worked with Adventist Health in the mobile clinic for 8 months. Lourdes previously worked at a Bakersfield urgent care clinic for two years and came to Adventist Health for more growth. Lourdes’ favorite part of her job on the mobile clinic is getting to learn new things like driving the unit and working with her team. During her free time Lourdes enjoys going to the beach and visiting aquariums and museums. She has two French bulldogs, Isley and Dante. Both pups are playful and funny in their own way. Lourdes lives in a household where she has always had a love for horses, cows, pigs, and sheep.


Rebecca Barraza,
Medical Assistant

Rebecca Barraza has worked in the healthcare industry for 7 years and recently joined the Adventist Health mobile clinic. Originally from Bakersfield, she currently lives in Taft. Rebecca previously worked at a pulmonology clinic for 4 years and came to Adventist Health for growing her career. Her favorite part of working on the mobile clinic is being able to do a variety of tasks. She enjoys outdoor activities such as camping and going to the beach.
