Community Well-Being Events

The Adventist Health Mobile Health Program is committed to caring for our community outside the hospital walls and bringing healthcare to where they are. We do this by providing the following well-being services, in partnership with local churches, schools, and other community-based organizations:

• Asthma screening and treatment
• Blood pressure screenings
• Blood sugar screenings
• Cancer screenings, including breast exams and colon cancer screening kits
• Cardiovascular health
• Cholesterol screenings

Over the last five years, Adventist Health has partnered with various groups, including the Bakersfield Sikh Women’s Association to provide clinical breast exams and cervical cancer screenings. We also partnered with the Bakersfield Senior Center to provide stroke information and colon cancer screening kits.
