Adventist Health White Memorial has accreditation through the Joint Commission (TJC) and the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). We offer five residency programs in medicine, including:

Family Medicine

The Family Medicine Residency Program was founded by six Latino physicians with deep ties to the Boyle Heights community. This community-focused foundation has developed into a robust program that offers residents hands-on, diverse patient care experiences. Find out more about our Family Medicine Residency Program.

Internal Medicine

Internal medicine residents have unique opportunities to collaborate with sub-specialists while providing ongoing care for their own set of patients. Our Internal Medicine Program has a strong culture rooted in excellent patient care, academic success and resident well-being. The fact that all of our core faculty are graduates of the Internal Medicine Residency speaks to just how strong our culture is. Discover more about the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

OB/GYN

Our OB/GYN Residency Program provides residents with comprehensive, hands-on experience in obstetric and gynecologic care. Our residents are united in the mission to provide quality, compassionate healthcare to a medically underserved community. At the heart of our program, we are committed to excellence — but we also foster a sense of camaraderie and value our residents’ work-life balance. Learn more about the OB/GYN Residency Program.

Pharmacy

Pharmacy residents work side-by-side with the medical team, including through morning reports and grand rounds. The pharmacy curriculum is designed to provide a rich, hands-on learning experience in clinical practice. Residents can even tailor portions of the curriculum to meet their unique needs and interests. Find out more about our Pharmacy Residency Program.

Podiatry

In the Podiatry Residency Program, residents care for a diverse patient population, including through inpatient rounds. We partner with more than 25 podiatric and orthopedic surgeons to offer residents comprehensive training in podiatric surgery and care. By the time a podiatry resident graduates, he or she will have performed more than 1,000 surgical first assists. Find out more about the Podiatry Residency Program.

Undergraduate Medical Education

We have designed our Undergraduate Medical Education programs for medical students interested in arranging rotations at Adventist Health White Memorial. Through these rotations, students develop their skills under supervision from our dedicated faculty. Find out more about Undergraduate Medical Education.
