The respiratory care department at Adventist Health White Memorial offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient pediatric, adult and neonatal respiratory care services. Our services include:
- Oxygen administration
- Mechanical ventilation
- Chest physiotherapy
- Pulmonary function testing
- Pulmonary rehabilitation
- Clinical education of respiratory care students
Our respiratory therapy team members have come to Adventist Health White Memorial from all over the country and several foreign countries. All therapists possess the Respiratory Care Practitioner License required to practice in the state of California. Our team includes members who are active participants in the California Society for Respiratory Care (CSRC), American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), American Lung Association (ALA), and American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
The department provides clinical and educational respiratory care services to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients and their loved ones. Respiratory therapists provide compassionate, loving care to patients and loved ones in an environment that promotes a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, is open to spiritual growth and beliefs, and is supportive of the community and stakeholders involved.
