A Message from Our President

Dear Friends,

Welcome! Our aim is to provide you with information about our philanthropy programs, and how they make a significant difference at our hospital.

During the COVID crisis, we know that our Latino/Latinx community has been especially hard hit. As I write this update in July of 2020, Los Angeles County reports that 43% of the deaths - the largest majority by far - are among the Hispanic community. With more than 30,000 COVID cases reported among Hispanics - many of whom live in our community. Our nurses and doctors are heroes, and our community has responded by generously supporting our hospital with more than $2.1 Million to date to support our COVID efforts.

In reality, though, our nurses and doctors are heroes EVERY day. What is happening today happens every day of the year, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Your generous support helps us to purchase personal protective equipment, medical supplies, state-of-the-art equipment, and even renovate/construct our facility. The $250 Million replacement hospital which we built over a decade ago would not exist if not for the generosity of people just like you. We greatly value each of you, our community partners, who help us to provide better healthcare and better programs in this community to keep people healthy. And when times are tough - like right now - Adventist Health White Memorial is still here, serving our community.

We welcome your comments and feedback, and truly appreciate your support. Each and every gift makes a difference!
