New FNP-C on a mission to help patients in Corcoran

CORCORAN – Jarrod Rodriguez, FNP-C is now caring for children and adults at Adventist Health Medical Office – Corcoran.

Growing up in Tulare, Rodriguez wanted to do work with which he could be impactful. He got his start as an RN in the Central Valley area. He received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Bakersfield. He then completed a Master of Science in Nursing and the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Simmons College, Boston, Mass.

He is committed to improving patients’ health and outcomes through quality care.

“The most important jobs in life are where you can transcend yourself and give back in service to others,” says Rodriguez.

His goal is to help patients feel heard and his Family Nurse Practitioner training has prepared him to focus on patient education through individualized care.

Rodriguez and his wife enjoy living, working and raising their family in the Central Valley. He says the area is full of, “good people, good friends, good family and neighbors.”
