Caring for the Kingsburg Community

KINGSBURG – While working as an aerospace maintenance staff sergeant in the military, David Davis was surrounded by emergency medical technicians and pararescuers. Watching the life-saving work they performed every day led him to pursue a career in the medical field.

Davis, a certified family nurse practitioner, is now caring for patients at Adventist Health / Community Care – Kingsburg.

He earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Because Davis had graduated from high school in Visalia and his family was still living in the area, he decided to move back to California to practice medicine. He cared for children and adults in Goshen for over a year before arriving to Adventist Health.

“To me, I don’t view us as rural health, but a community” says Davis. “It’s where you live and the people you’re caring for. You see them at the grocery store and when you’re out shopping. They’re our friends and family.”

In his free time, Davis enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors and with his family.

He may be reached at Adventist Health / Community Care – Kingsburg, 1251 Draper St., with a phone number of (559) 897-6610. More information is available by visiting
