Provider Offering Care in Her Hometown!

Aimee Franco, a new certified family nurse practitioner, is providing care in her hometown of Taft!

Franco joined the staff at Adventist Health / Community Care – Taft on Oct. 31.

She has an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Bakersfield College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix in Bakersfield and a Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at University of Phoenix in Pasadena, Calif.

Before becoming a family nurse practitioner, Franco served as a medical assistant for 10 years and a registered nurse for 11 years.

She knew she wanted to be in the medical field in high school because she used to stand on the sidelines during football games and help her school’s athletic trainer wrap ankles and assist with other minor injuries.

“I want to give back to my community and help people understand the benefits of being healthy,” she says.

In her free time, Franco enjoys traveling, fitness and spending time with her three children and granddaughter.

She may be reached at Community Care – Taft, 501 6th St., with a phone number of (661) 763-5131. For more information, please visit
