
Walla Walla General Hospital Marketing Department Wins National Awards
Adventist Health/Walla Walla General Hospital’s Marketing Department has been recognized in two national health care marketing and advertising competitions. In total, eight awards were received in the 33rd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards and the Aster Awards for work completed in 2015. The department was awarded four gold, two silver, one bronze and one merit award.
The Healthcare Advertising Awards — hosted by the Healthcare Marketing Report — is a leading publication covering all aspects of health care marketing, advertising and strategic business development. It is the largest national health care advertising award competition of its kind, with more than 3,700 entries. A national panel of judges review all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
The Aster Awards is a prominent competition recognizing marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising. This health care marketing competition allows organizations and advertising agencies to compete against similarly-sized competitors from across the nation. Winning entries, judged by a diverse panel of experts, are published in the Marketing Healthcare Today magazine.
