Walla Walla General Hospital Recognized as 'Top Performer' by CALNOC
Walla Walla General Hospital has been recognized for the third year in a row for performance excellence in the Reduction of Hospital Acquired Pressure Ulcers (HAPU Stage II+) and Reduction of Injury Falls by the Collaborative Alliance for Nursing Outcomes, the nation’s first nurse quality indicators database.
“The CALNOC Award represents our nursing staff’s dedication to quality, safe patient care,” says Linda Givens, RN, MSN, CEN, Vice President of Patient Care. “Each day our nurses work diligently to keep our patient’s safety foremost in their efforts. Consistent commitment to doing the right thing for those in our care has earned this hospital and its nurses a valuable moment of praise for all their diligence.”
Hospitals who receive this designation have a long and consistent track record of monitoring and measuring nursing specific quality measures. Hospitals who work with the CALNOC registry seek to deliver the highest standard of care to their communities. For more information about CALNOC, visit calnoc.org.
