Family Physician to Discuss Why and How to Quit Smoking

HANFORD – November is Lung Cancer Awareness month. Lung cancer affects many different types of people, but most often occurs in people who smoke.

Dr. Jay Kerr, a family medicine physician with Adventist Health Physicians Network, will talk about why and how to quit smoking at the First Friday with a Physician presentation from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 6.

Dr. Kerr has spent many years working to improve the community’s health, including the health of our teenagers.

The presentation will be at Adventist Medical Center – Hanford, 115 Mall Drive, in Conference Rooms 2 and 3. The event is free and includes a catered lunch. Seating is limited to 50.
