WWGH to Host Free Informational Planned Giving Seminar

The Walla Walla General Hospital Foundation will host a planned giving seminar Tuesday, May 20, for individuals interested in learning more about charitable bequests that leave a lasting legacy. The informational seminar is free and open to the public.

“Your Dreams, Your Legacy” will be held Tuesday, May 20, at 2 p.m. in the Wheatland Village Boardroom, 1500 Catherine Street, in Walla Walla. The seminar will feature Andrea Burkhart, attorney and estate planning advocate and partner at Burkhart & Burkhart PLLC; and James Brown, president of Western Adventist Foundation and an expert on bequests and gift annuities.

Planned giving can help individuals carry out their philanthropic goals, while also accomplishing personal and family objectives. No estate is too small to benefit from an estate plan. Attendees at this seminar will learn how to reduce taxes, provide for heirs, bypass capital gains, and leave a legacy. This is an informational seminar only—no requests or contributions will be made at the presentation.
