Adventist Health is expanding its footprint in Portland with the opening of the Parkrose Medical Plaza. The 23,000 square foot medical complex opens on March 31 providing the community access to primary care physicians, laboratory services, x-ray, physical therapy, occupational medicine and a future urgent care center.

As the nation continues to define healthcare transformation and debate healthcare reform, Adventist Health is moving forward with innovative methods of delivering coordinated care. A team of ten physicians and nurse practitioners, along with 45 additional employees will be partnering with patients to help deliver health and healing in the new medical plaza.

“This is more than just a group of clinicians doing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests and providing medical treatments,” states Dr. Todd Wise, Medical Director of Adventist Health Medical Group. “Our goal at the Parkrose Medical Plaza is to partner with the patient to deliver care which enhances healing, reduces illness and fosters wellness.”

Adventist Health continues to grow medical services in the Portland metropolitan area that focus on enhancing wellness and improving the health of the communities served.
