Walla Walla General Hospital Invites Golfers to Join in Driving the Future of Health Care


Registration open for the 3rd Annual Golf Benefit

The 3rd Annual Golf Benefit for Walla Walla General Hospital is set for Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Wine Valley Golf Club. The event raises money for the extensive renovations underway in the hospital's med/surg unit to enlarge and enhance the patient rooms.

Registration, warm-up and complementary health screenings begin at 10 a.m. Check-in will continue until 12:30 p.m., at which time the drawing for the $50,000 Shoot-Out begins. A shotgun start to begin the tournament is at 1 p.m. Come early and work the winter kinks out of your swing with unlimited access to the driving range and hone your skills on the practice green. Lunch is included and the day wraps up with an Awards Dinner barbecue honoring sponsors, winning teams, and contest winners.

"We are excited to be partnering with our community, friends and sponsors for this event to continue to improve the quality of health care in our community," says John Cress, executive director of the Walla Walla General Hospital Foundation.
