Fremont Rideout Cancer Center To Host Cancer Survivors Day 2010

Rideout Press Releases

Through screening, early detection and advances in medical science, millions of people are living healthy, productive lives as cancer survivors.

National Cancer Survivors Day helps to educate the community that cancer is a survivable disease and offers the opportunity for survivors to celebrate life together.

On Sunday, June 6, 2010 the Rideout Cancer Center will be celebrating National Cancer Survivors Day at a survivors and friends event from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Cancer Center, 618 5th Street in Marysville

The Cancer Center is inviting all cancer survivors, friends and family to celebrate life together at the event.

This event will include artwork by cancer survivors and their caregivers, loaned by Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical. Music will be provided by the Millington Strings quintet and wine, appetizers and dessert will be available to all at no cost. Special gifts will be given to cancer survivors.

For more information, contact Susan Vague or Lorna Yatman at 749-4400.

Special thanks to these special community businesses for their generous support, Yuba City Florist, Edible Arrangements and Pelton’s Party Rentals and Sales.
