Kevin Woodward Resigns as CFO of Fremont-Rideout Health Group

(YUBA CITY - Calif.) - The Board of Directors of the Rideout Health Group (the FRHG) announced with regret today that Kevin Woodward has resigned as the organization's Chief Financial Officer in order to pursue other career opportunities.  His resignation will become effective November 12, 2009. 

Prior to joining the FRHG in 2002, Kevin, who is a certified public accountant, worked for several major international public accounting firms in positions of increasing responsibility, and then served as a divisional controller for Waste Management, a Fortune 150 company.  Kevin was appointed CFO in August 2006, where he was responsible for all of the organization's financial and accounting services, information and technology services, purchasing and materials management, health information management, and patient access, and worked in support of the organization's operations.

"Kevin Woodward became our CFO at a critical time for the organization", said Theresa Hamilton, Chief Executive Officer.  "His dedication to the organization and tireless work with me, other members of the senior management team, and the Board of Directors was instrumental in accomplishing several very important strategic, management and financial system changes at the FRHG."  As well as building an outstanding team, Kevin's many accomplishments include developing the organization's Capital and Strategic Plan, instituting new investment/finance policies, significantly improving reimbursement, and implementing many new financial, accounting and information management systems.  Ms. Hamilton said, "His skills, depth of knowledge, and innovative approaches will be missed by the organization, and we all wish him the very best in the future." 

The organization has hired Pat Lash as its interim CFO while Ms. Hamilton and the Board conduct a search for a permanent replacement.
