31 Stories in 31 Days - Breast Cancer Awareness

Cancer KERO ABC23 and San Joaquin Community Hospital are looking for your inspirational story for our upcoming breast cancer awareness campaign called “31 Stories in 31 Days.”

Breast cancer has, in some way, impacted most of us. For many, this fight has turned ordinary women into our extraordinary heroes. This is your chance to tell us about your hero. The story can be about you, your mother, your sister or your best friend. We want to know about women in our community who not only beat breast cancer, but fought the tough fight while being an inspiration to others.
Here’s the best part. We’re going to award the story voted by us as “most inspirational,” with a trip to Hollywood to attend a taping of the Ellen Show.

There are several ways for you to send us your story:
Mail your story (125 words or less) with a picture of your hero to:

The deadline for receiving your story by mail or email is September 11.
