Mental Health Services

How we meet your every need

The behavioral services unit at Adventist Health White Memorial offers patients a variety of services to help those in need of assistance.

Physician services

Each patient admitted to the program will be under the care of a psychiatrist. You will be assigned to an internal medicine physician who will perform a complete examination for all medical issues.

Nursing services

Our nursing services offer you both physical and psychological support. The nursing team is responsible for providing a therapeutic environment, which includes psychiatric, physical and social well-being. Each staff member is specifically trained.

Social worker assistance

All social workers are master-prepared and license-eligible in the state of California. Your social worker is responsible for all psychosocial issues and discharge planning.

Treatment planning

An individualized treatment plan is initiated for all patients on admission. This ensures a coordinated and multidisciplinary approach to your treatment. You are encouraged to participate as much as possible in your treatment plan.
