Hengbing WangHengbing Wang, MD

Dr. Wang is a board certified hematologist and oncologist, with a special interest in lung cancer. He earned his medical degree at Beijing Medical University in Beijing, China and completed his residency at John Stroger Hospital of Cook County, formerly Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. He went on to complete a fellowship at the University of Minnesota, School of Medicine Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation. Dr. Wang provides personalized compassionate care for his patients.

April WuApril Wu, NP

April Wu was trained at the California University-Long Beach, completing her Masters of Science in Nursing-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program. April has experience in treating and managing diverse patient populations. One of her many strengths that she brings to this team is her ability to develop and implements effective treatment regiments. April maintains a patient first approach, delivering individualized care to all of her patients.

Angle SlaterAngle Slater, RN

Angle Slater is our Oncology Supervisor at the Cancer Treatment and Infusion Center. She brings 15 years of patient care to the center having worked as a charge nurse on the med/surg floor and infusion coordinator for oncology. Angle is passionate about cancer treatment in our community and was instrumental in creating the Focus on Healing program which focuses on providing alternative modalities and therapies to patients.

Angle also assists with the process of Advanced Care Planning. She will help you understand, reflect on, and plan for a time about the care you would want to receive if you happen to become unable to make decisions on your own. Through this process she can guide you in the creation of a plan, called an Advance Directive.

Maria WatsonMaria Watson, RN OCN

Maria Watson is a Stanford trained Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and has most recently obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of California, completing their Nurse Leader Program. Maria is the Mendocino Region Breast Health Nurse Navigator. Maria feels it is an honor to work with patients during such a pivotal life- changing event. She guides patients and their families through all phases of treatment with compassion and caring.
