Judson Howe, President of North Coast Network

Judson Howe serves as the President of the North Coast Network for Adventist Health overseeing six facilities—Ukiah Valley, Howard Memorial, Mendocino Coast, Clear Lake, St. Helena and Vallejo. Previously Judson served as President in Mendocino County, leading our three hospitals Howard Memorial, Mendocino Coast and Ukiah Valley, as well as our medical offices and other services throughout the county.

Judson previously served as the finance and strategy officer for the three hospitals in Mendocino County, after leading finance and strategy for Adventist Health Howard Memorial since 2016. He brings more than 15 years of experience in healthcare finance and strategy to this role. Under his leadership, Adventist Health improved access to care in Mendocino County by bringing in new physicians, enhanced coordination of care and synergy across three hospitals and invested in much-needed equipment and facility upgrades.

Judson is passionate about community wellness and well-being and caring for the community beyond the four walls of the hospital, addressing the social determinants of health.

Judson moved to Ukiah from Southern California more than six years ago and has fallen in love with the area where he and his wife have raised their two young children. He is excited to improve the care for many families that call Northern California home, including his own.

Judson is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, San Bernardino.

David Leighton, Administrator

David Leighton serves as the Administrator of Adventist Health Ukiah Valley, he will focus on leading the day-to-day work of the Adventist Health Ukiah Valley Medical Center and clinics to ensure strategies align with and support the daily operations of the administrative, financial, and managerial side of the organization.

Previously, David served as the Interim Operations Executive for Adventist Health in Mendocino County overseeing the day-to-day functions of the organization and promoting performance improvements across the county. Prior to Adventist Health he served as the Chief Operating Officer for Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Richmond, CA.

David is most excited about the tremendous opportunity to improve the lives of the residents in Mendocino County with the largest and most comprehensive healthcare facility in the county to transform the health experience for the community by enhancing interactions and making care more accessible.

David graduated with his bachelor’s degree in business and went on to get his master’s in public administration from Drake University in Iowa and his Masters in Human Capital Management from Bellevue University in Nebraska.

In his spare time, David enjoys camping and kayaking with his wife.

Jill Bartolomie, Patient Care Executive

Jill Bartolomie, MSN, serves as patient care executive for Adventist Health Ukiah Valley. Jill oversees quality initiatives, all nursing practices, infection control, pharmacy and anesthesia, for Ukiah Valley. She most recently served as Administrative Director of Nursing at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley.

Jill graduated from Sonoma State University with her bachelor’s in nursing and went on to obtain her master’s in nursing science from the University of Phoenix.

With over 20 years of experience with Adventist Health, she looks forward to deepening relationships and partnerships in the community, in addition to the many other functions of her role. Jill’s vision for the hospital includes improving scores across its operations in pursuit of a CMS Five-Star Quality Rating.

Gregory D. Eberhart, Medical Officer for the North Coast Network

Gregory D. Eberhart, MD, serves as the medical officer of the North Coast Network, overseeing six facilities—Ukiah Valley, Howard Memorial, Mendocino Coast, Clear Lake, St. Helena and Vallejo.

Dr. Eberhart previously served as Chief Medical Officer at Mercy San Juan Medical Center, operated by Dignity Health. After earning his bachelor’s in biology from University of Missouri-Columbia, Eberhart earned his MD from St. Louis University. Among his accomplishments, Eberhart is a Board-Certified Cardiologist, veteran Commander of the United States Navy Medical Corp having served 13 years, and currently participating in the Yale Global Executive Leadership Program. He looks forward to developing the next generation of physician leadership and helping improve the lives of those residing in the North Coast Network.
