340B Prescription Drug Program

The 340B Prescription Drug Program supports our role as a safety-net provider in offering vital healthcare services in the communities we serve. The program is only for hospitals that provide a high level of services to low-income individuals or serve isolated rural communities. In 2021, Adventist Health Ukiah Valley provided:


  • $ 13.6

    million from 340B savings

  • $ 28.3

    million invested in the community

  • $ 19.4

    million spent on supplemental Medicaid and Medicare

  • 5

    million provided in uncompensated care

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is a 78 bed hospital serving Mendocino and Lake counties in Northern California.

The 340B program allows us to have programs and services such as:

  • Homeless Street Medicine Program serving more than 1,300 people annually
  • Free vaccinations to vulnerable populations
  • Access to specialty care
  • Funding for other medical services for vulnerable populations
