Community Relations

Essential to our mission is community involvement, and Rideout Health serves the community by supporting programs that improve the health of our community. By initiating outreach programs that address health concerns of the Yuba-Sutter community and nearby region.

The Community Relations Department builds partnerships to:

• Offer screenings and health education to the community
• Facilitate research to improve patient care
• Provide charity health services

Community Screenings

Rideout Health regularly offers health screenings to the public at little or no charge by participating and hosting health fairs. These screenings may include:

• Cholesterol
• Glucose
• Blood pressure
• Height and weight with BMI (body mass index)
• Prostate screening

Speaker's bureau

Adventist Health and Rideout offers a free speakers bureau of physicians and other medical specialists covering a wide range of topics. Speakers offer presentations at community events, service clubs and organizations and interviews for the media.
