Serving Yuba and Sutter Counties, Dr. Macbeth and Dr. Chu have experience and expertise to diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular disorders using traditional open vascular surgery and minimally invasive endovascular treatments.

Our services include

• Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) – An aneurysm is when the walls of the artery weaken and start to bulge. AAA is an aneurysm that occurs in the chest’s main artery. This artery needs to be repaired through surgery as soon as possible.
• Peripheral Arterial Disease – Veins and arteries can start to narrow when fatty plaque deposits accumulate on the artery walls. This restricts blood flow and could result in a blood clot, which leads to serious health complications. Surgeons typically use bypass surgery or a minimally invasive angioplasty to treat this condition.
• Thoracic Aneurysm – An aneurysm that occurs in the upper part of the aorta, one of the body’s major blood vessels. A surgeon needs to repair the aneurysm before it has a chance to rupture. Severe cases require open-chest surgery, but some can be treated through minimally invasive means.
• Carotid Arterial Disease – The carotid arteries are the primary blood vessels leading to the brain. Plaque buildup in these arteries can lead to a stroke. A surgeon will need to remove the plaque or expand the artery to prevent a stroke.
• Varicose Veins – Varicose veins are enlarged veins that you can see through the skin. They typically occur in the legs and feet. Varicose veins are sometimes painful, but not always. They typically indicate that your vascular system is weakened, and you should monitor your cardiovascular health. When varicose veins are so severe that they require surgery, we can remove them in a varicose stripping procedure.
• Endovascular Surgery – This is a minimally invasive procedure often used to treat aneurysms and artery plaque. Minimally invasive means that the surgeon does not need to make many incisions and the risk of infection is reduced.
• Vascular Screening – With vascular screening, we can examine your vascular system for any of the conditions listed above, in addition to other vascular diseases. If you are at a high risk for cardiovascular diseases, you should receive regular vascular screenings.
