Visiting Hours

Visitor restrictions: To protect our patients and staff, we’ve restricted all visitors in our facilities at this time. There are some exceptions such as pediatrics, labor and delivery, a patient who is experiencing end of life or someone who needs assistance.

For situations in which visitors are allowed, preferred visiting hours are from 10a-8p on all Medical/Surgical units.

In order to maintain a restful environment for the patient and allow for nursing care, visiting hours in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) are limited to 5-10 minutes per hour. Children under 12 are generally not permitted, per hospital policy, in the ICU. Children under 13 are generally not permitted in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

Screening prior to entry: In addition to having a single point of entry at our hospitals, we are screening every person for symptoms and risk factors prior to entering our facilities. This does take extra time, but this is for the safety of our patients and our staff.

Masking policy: We now require all staff and visitors wear a mask when in our hospital or clinics.

Nursing staff may use discretion to alter these restrictions as warranted by patient condition. Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
