Our audiology services include:
- Diagnostic hearing exams for ages 5 and up
- Hearing screenings for OSHA or DOT purposes
- Infant hearing screenings for babies up to 1 month of age who fail their newborn hearing screening
- Vestibular exams for patients with dizziness and balance disorders
- On-site industrial hearing testing for companies who have workers who are exposed to dangerous noise on the job
- Tinnitus management program
Special expertise in tinnitus management
Our audiology team blends sound and behavioral therapy to help reduce the impact of tinnitus on daily life. While there is no cure, many patients have found meaningful relief through our program.
The tinnitus program includes two separate 1-hour appointments:
- Initial appointment: The audiologist gathers background information, reviews your tinnitus history and current coping strategies, and has you complete questionnaires about how tinnitus affects your daily life. You’ll also receive an overview of potential treatment approaches. This visit helps the audiologist develop personalized clinical impressions and prepare recommendations for your care plan.
- Follow-up appointment: The audiologist provides detailed education and counseling about tinnitus, why it can be disruptive, and how treatment strategies can help. Recommendations are tailored to your specific needs, including concerns like hearing loss or sound sensitivity, as well as your personal goals. You’ll leave with an individualized care plan, additional resources, and the opportunity to ask questions or discuss concerns.
Your plan may include:
- Hearing and tinnitus assessments
- Counseling and education
- Sound therapy and progress monitoring
Relief can start with a conversation. Talk to your audiologist or physician for a referral today.
