BrainScope
BrainScope is an FDA-cleared medical device used to aid in the evaluation of head injuries in patients, providing information about the likelihood of a brain bleed or concussion. BrainScope also provides information about the severity of the concussion, supporting providers with data for concussion management and to track recovery. BrainScope must be ordered by a physician. The assessment uses a disposable headset to record brain EEG signals from the forehead and takes less than 20 minutes.
Helicopter transport
Our helipad and helicopter transport in and out of the hospital is crucial to successfully treating patients in the ER. If your condition requires specialized services that are offered at another facility, we’ll ensure you get the fastest possible access to the care you need. This capability brings you the specialty care of North Bay and greater Bay Area hospitals within minutes.

Location
The emergency room is located at Adventist Health Clear Lake. When you arrive at the hospital, follow signs to the left to access the ER. There is a patient and visitor entrance as well as ER parking just beyond the ambulance entrance.
