Community Wellness
The Community Wellness department at Adventist Health Clear Lake is designed to help create a healthy, thriving environment for hospital employees, patients and community members. This is achieved through teamwork, dedication and collaboration with various organizations here in Lake County. Since its inception in 2015 the community wellness team has grown to over ten AH employees, contractors and volunteers. Key projects of the department include, Project Restoration, an initiative designed to help with the high-utilizing neighbors within the community and SafeRx the local opioid prevention coalition. Other areas of focus include, employee wellness, CPAT, development, capitation, community benefit, nutrition services, CAP and grant management.
