Our Preschool (three-year old) room currently runs with a capacity of 12 children and one full time teacher; maintaining a ratio of 1:12. Our preschool program is maintained with a responsive daily schedule, where the teachers are responsive to each child’s needs as they arise, but are able to increase the children’s understanding of peers and being a member of a group. The teachers work diligently to increase the trust while providing the opportunities for learning exploration that this age group requires. Our highly experienced and qualified staff work closely with our preschool families to maintain consistency and remain in close communication as children develop. Parents have information such as lesson plans, snack menus, scheduled events, and special notifications immediately available to them via the app on their smart phone and may message the teachers directly with important information and questions. We add additional support for early printing skills with the utilization of Handwriting Without Tears with our preschool classrooms.

Our preschool program utilizes the Creative Curriculum, and supplies the environment, activity and support for the children to attain the goals and objectives that become the building blocks to prepare them for our Pre-K program as well as their future elementary academic experiences. Lesson plans are created with individual and group needs in mind, and the goals and are always immediately available to parents on the app.
