Visiting Hours & Guidelines

Effective March 19, 2021

Our visitation guidelines are changing effective March 19, 2021. Los Angeles County’s current positivity rate is in the Red Tier, which allows for limited visitation. Please keep in mind the following guidance if you plan to visit at patient at Adventist Health Glendale:

  • NO Visitors for patients with current positive COVID-19 test or pending COVID test. Virtual visit is the alternate form of communication; assistance with virtual visits is available as needed
  • Inpatients will be allowed one healthy visitor per patient, per day, NO switching
  • No exit and re-entry per calendar day.
  • Visitation between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.; not to exceed 2 hours; no overnight visits
  • All visitors required to be 18 years old and over, in good health and undergo temperature and symptom screening upon entering the building
  • All visitors are required to wear a mask, maintain 6 feet of physical distance from others in all areas, including the patient room, and practice frequent hand hygiene
  • Visitors must remain in the patient room; the use of interior public spaces (cafeteria, family lounges, lobbies, etc.) is not permitted
  • Virtual visits are strongly encouraged, especially for vulnerable populations including those 65+ and those with underlying health conditions
  • Failure to comply with our safety protocols and visitor guidelines may result in dismissal from hospital grounds

These visitation guidelines are subject to change at any time to protect the safety of our patients, visitors, and caregivers.

We are available to support families in virtual visits using FaceTime, Skype, WhatsApp or telephone video chat.
