Glendale

Our Medical Missions

At Adventist Health Glendale (AHGL), our mission is "To share God's love with our community by promoting healing and wellness for the whole person." While this is especially important here in our Glendale community, we also believe that we are called to carry this mission to our friends and neighbors around the world.

To fulfill this mission, AHGL continues to support several mission projects in disadvantaged communities around the world.

AHGL and the Armenia Fund collaborated for the first time for a medical mission to a rural Armenian community in Noyemberyan, a small province in the Tavush region. A 31-member volunteer team, including AHGL physicians, nurses, support personnel and hospital leaders, provided free medical care to a small hospital and a population in great need. Over the course of 10 days, nearly 800 patients underwent physical exams, screenings and surgeries including cleft palates, hernia repair, gall bladder removal and scar revisions.
