Adventist Health Tillamook Podiatrist Dr. Brent Ricks Earns Patient Feedback Driven Recommended Practice Award
Adventist Health Tillamook announces that Dr. Brent Ricks, a podiatrist at Adventist Health Medical Office – Plaza and Adventist Health Medical Office – Pacific City, has earned the coveted Adventist Health Recommend Practice Award for June competing with all Adventist Health clinics, a network encompassing over 400 clinic facilities. This accolade is a testament to Dr. Ricks and his medical assistant McKenzie (Kenzie) Whitaker’s exceptional attention to patient satisfaction. Dr. Ricks’ recommend practice score is an impressive 93.5% in April, based on the Press Ganey survey question, "How likely are you to suggest a friend or family member should see your doctor?"
The Recommended Practice Award is determined by patient responses to this pivotal question, highlighting the trust patients have with their healthcare provider. Dr. Ricks' achievement underscores his dedication to delivering outstanding care and fostering patient relationships.
Post-appointment surveys play a crucial role in measuring patient experiences, particularly in rural healthcare settings where alternative options for specialty care are not readily available. These standard questions provide insights into perceptions and areas for improvement, guiding healthcare providers to enhance service quality. For Adventist Health, patient satisfaction is integral to living their mission of living God's love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope.
Gina Seufert, RN, Physician and Clinic Services Executive and Privacy Officer, celebrates Dr. Ricks’ outstanding achievement, stating, “Dr. Ricks’ and Kenzie’s high patient satisfaction scores verify their unwavering commitment to their patients. This commitment of providing exceptional care not only enhances the patient experience but also strengthens the trust and confidence our community has in us overall. We are incredibly proud of Dr. Ricks’ and Kenzie’s and his contribution to our mission of inspiring health, wholeness and hope.”
