Adventist Health Tillamook 2024 Associate of the Year Named

Adventist Health Tillamook announces that Julie Brainerd, RN, Care Manager, has been selected as the 2024 Associate of the Year. Recognized for her unwavering commitment to compassionate care and whole-person healing, Julie was originally honored as the September 2024 Associate of the Month and was chosen from among a group of exceptional colleagues who each serve our community with unique dedication.

Known for her calm presence and heart for service, Julie consistently goes above and beyond to support her patients and coworkers. As a discharge planner, she ensures patients leave the hospital safely, with access to food, medication, and the resources needed to prevent readmission. “Julie is always there to help if we need to figure out discharge plans,” one colleague noted. “She has such an amazing heart for everyone.”

Julie’s work embodies the values of Adventist Health, including Be Love, Be a Force for Good, and Be a Mission Owner. Her efforts directly reflect the organization’s mission of living God’s love by inspiring health, wholeness and hope.

As part of this honor, Julie will receive a $500 award in recognition of her outstanding contributions throughout the year.
