Welcoming Electrophysiologist, Dr. Will Ojeda-Meléndez

Adventist Health Castle is pleased to welcome Willibaldo Ojeda-Meléndez, MD, a board-certified clinical cardiac electrophysiologist, to Adventist Health Castle Specialty Care.

Dr. Ojeda-Meléndez specializes in diagnosing and treating complex heart rhythm conditions, including atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular and ventricular tachycardias, heart block, syncope and heart failure. His clinical expertise includes electrophysiology studies, pacemaker and ICD implantation, loop recorder implantation, pulmonary vein isolation and advanced ablation procedures.

Bringing advanced heart rhythm expertise

Dr. Ojeda-Meléndez is board certified in cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has practiced medicine for 25 years, including more than 15 years as an electrophysiologist, offering the latest in cardiac electrophysiology services, advanced procedures and multidisciplinary care.

One of the most meaningful parts of his work, Dr. Ojeda-Meléndez said, is helping patients experience significant improvements in how they feel and function. “What I love the most about my field is that I’m able to help patients in a way that truly changes their lives,” he said. “Patients may arrive critically ill to the hospital, but they’re able to go home within a day or two feeling like a new person.”
