Jackie Fox, Director of Emergency Medical Services at Adventist Health Tillamook, has dedicated more than three decades to the field of emergency medicine. Her journey began in 1991 as a ride-along with the ambulance department, igniting a passion that would shape her career. Hired as a per diem employee in 1992, she transitioned to a full-time role in 1994. Over the years, Fox has steadily advanced through multiple positions, from Emergency Medical Technician-1 to Paramedic Supervisor and Manager, before assuming her current leadership role. Each stage of her career has provided invaluable experience, allowing her to lead with both operational expertise and clinical proficiency.
As Director, Fox is committed to ensuring that the ambulance department delivers high-quality, patient-centered care. She emphasizes professionalism, respect and empathy in every aspect of emergency medical services (EMS). By leveraging advanced training and evidence-based practices, she strives to continuously enhance the department’s capabilities. Her leadership fosters a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that both staff and patients benefit from the latest advancements in emergency care.
