340B Prescription Drug Program

The 340B Prescription Drug Program supports our role as a safety-net provider in offering vital healthcare services in the communities we serve. The program is only for hospitals that provide a high level of services to low-income individuals or serve isolated rural communities. In 2021, Adventist Health St. Helena provided:

  • $ 8.1

    million from 340B savings

  • $ 57.9

    million invested in
     the community

  • $ 44.4

    spent on
    supplemental Medicaid and Medicare

  • $ 11.4

    million provided in uncompensated care

Adventist Health St. Helena is 151-bed acute care facility located in Napa Valley. We are proud to serve a rural area that ordinarily would not have access to many of the advanced medical services we offer.

The 340B programs allows us to have services and programs such as:

  • 26 surgeries provided to low-income, uninsured patients
  • Free cardiovascular disease screenings
  • Wellness program for 600 students in the St. Helena School District
