Helping you on this journey is Susan Gamble, MD and Peggy Thomas, MSN, ACNP-BC, CNS, internal medicine experts that have a passion for lifestyle medicine. They are dedicated to helping patients get healthy by integrating lifestyle habits, such nutritious cooking, diet education, prescribed exercise, relaxation techniques to reduce stress and more.

Susan Gamble, MD
Internal & Lifestyle Medicine

Dr. Susan Gamble is board certified in internal medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, WA, followed by an internal medicine residency at Yale University in New Haven, CT.

Previously, Dr. Gamble was an integral part of TakeTEN at Adventist Health St. Helena, a 10-day inpatient program that optimized health via lifestyle changes, which included diet and exercise prescriptions. She is excited about helping her patients achieve their optimal health while focusing on both evidence-based medicine as well as lifestyle change.

Peggy Thomas, MSN, ACNP-BC, CNS
Internal & Lifestyle Medicine

Peggy Thomas is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a passion for lifestyle medicine. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Nursing at University of California Los Angeles and her Bachelor of Nursing degree at California State University in Carson, CA.

Previously, Peggy supported the TakeTEN program at Adventist Health St. Helena, working especially with diabetic clients and those with nicotine dependence. She has provided services in the Adventist Health system since 2009. Prior to her work with us, she offered specialty care to patients in both acute care hospital settings and an advanced internal medicine outpatient clinic.
