Aug 11, 2026
Seven of the eight eligible hospitals across Adventist Health Central California Network earned the Leapfrog Full Transparency Badge, recognizing a strong commitment to publicly reporting information about patient safety and quality through the annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey.
The Full Transparency Badge is awarded to hospitals that complete, affirm, and submit all sections of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, one of the nation's leading voluntary reporting programs focused on patient safety, quality, and transparency. The Adventist Health hospitals in Central California that earned the badge include:
- Adventist Health Reedley
- Adventist Health Selma
- Adventist Health Hanford
- Adventist Health Tulare
- Adventist Health Delano
- Adventist Health Bakersfield
- Adventist Health Specialty Bakersfield
"Earning the Full Transparency Badge reflects our responsibility to deliver safe, high-quality care to the communities we serve," said Ghassan Jamaleddine, medical officer for Adventist Health Central California Network. "Transparency is an essential part of building trust with our patients and their families. By openly sharing our performance data, we demonstrate our dedication to continuous improvement and to providing care that meets the highest standards of safety and quality."
For Adventist Health Central California Network, transparency goes hand in hand with a culture of patient safety and clinical excellence. The recognition follows a series of recent achievements across the region, including six eligible hospitals earning consecutive "A" Hospital Safety Grades from The Leapfrog Group, a distinction that reflects strong performance in preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, and infections.
By participating fully in the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, Adventist Health hospitals across Central California provide patients, families, and community members with meaningful information about the quality of care they receive. The organization remains focused on advancing safety, enhancing patient outcomes, and ensuring greater access to trusted healthcare services.
"We applaud Adventist Health Central California Network for its commitment to transparency," said Leah Binder, president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group. "Transparency is one of the most powerful drivers of improvement in health care. By fully participating in the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, Adventist Health Central California Network is helping patients and families access meaningful information about the safety and quality of its care."
The Leapfrog Full Transparency Badge appears on Leapfrog's public ratings website and identifies hospitals that have committed to openly sharing information about their performance.
